they work great. they float and have fins.
just don't get one too wide or your bottom turns will suck.
and look for used ones as you will destroy it in a short amount of time.

a pro will make any kite work even a single line kite.
but really, the answer is Caution all the way. once used to the turning speed of Caution kites, no other kite will ever come close. bear in mind this is somewhat bias since im getting them at great discounts
LF has designed this board specific for kiting. it will work. and the fins system is FCS plugs which is very common in surfing and ok for kiting. only problem with them is if you run over rocks or sand, chances are the fin plugs will pull out and bust instead of your fins breaking like future fins o...
