The Access is not a gimmick, it is designed specially for short lines. I have flown them and they not your normal kite with short lines stuck on. If you dont have room to set up long lines it could be a good option. They do take some getting used to as they do fly close to the water. Good for cruisi...

I am about 65kg and ride either 8 or 6m kites. Not sure what 'nervous' means but it is responsive.
I find it cuts through chop quite nice being a smaller board. That is one of the reasons I got it, that it doesnt bounce around while your trying to do a turn.

I would say a 10m is the best all round.

Any brand is all good, use it and when you know what you like look at getting a new one after you have taken some for a demo.

Its a 5'2 Compact. I have been riding it since the day they came into Australia and I really like it. Loose and responsive and easily handles any chop with out bouncing around.
