Replacing Chicken Loop Line on 2007 Rebel

Hi,

I broke the thin secondary line on the chicken loop (for the movable stopper), but I can't seem to get the black bit out of the back of the cleat. Has anyone managed to do this before?

Cheers,

Pete.

Rocket Fish Fins

Anyone found a better substitute than the NCS FCS adapter? Broke a fin turning to hard last night, could end up being an expensive habit if it keeps happening.

Cheers,

Pete.

I watched you guys kite for 2? days while surfing @ Serengan and Sri Lanka at Nusa Dua, and decided I would come and kite the next day, but on the way the surf was bigger so I went surfing. In the end it kind of ended up being a catch 22, I really only wanted to kite if the waves were good and if th...

Attn Jankie: Keramas in Bali

Hi Jankie, I have just got back from a couple of weeks in Bali. I stupidly didn't take any kites because I thought I would be able to find surf most days and I thought it was going to be light. After watching 1 or 2 guys tack up to Serengan (sic?) from Sanur the first couple of days I was regretting...

A few years ago when the FLX range was just coming out, I had a problem with a WaveTray board that I had bought from KP. The board was definitely out of warranty, but UG and KP were kind enough to give me an FLX for what I would think would be very close to cost. Its still going strong. Thanks dudes.

Naish 6'1" vs. North 6'0" ?

Has anyone tried both of these boards? How do they compare? I had a go on the North on the weekend in wind that was too light :-( and felt that it might be too small for me as it seemed to bog down a bit with out power but we had pretty weak wind and waves so it was hard to tell. Of the turns i did ...

Be great to have a range of surfboards which have added strength for kiting and inserts.
Second that, and I would be more than happy to donate my time to testing their strength ...

So, have any of you design champs evaluated flex profiles (ie stiffness as a function of distance along the board) against performance/characteristics? To the point where you can use FE to design the layup/thickness profile of the board? Surely this should be a function of rider weight as well? IMHO...
