Hi

What's about the low-end in comparison of xlw to carver?

Thanks again

Carsten

I would say it's about the same if not slightly better on the XLW because the XLW accelerates and builds apparent wind faster and you can pop it up harder on takeoff without fear of breaching

Re: Groove Skate

the right rocker can actually help you start earlier vs. a flat board as it can release and get on plane quicker. There are exceptions and many variables just saying more rocker doesn't necessarily mean poor low end.

Re: Moses 2018

I ride the 550 and 633 back to back a good bit 550 strapped and 633 strapless and IMO unless going for a jumping session amazingly there isn't that much difference. Despite the larger size of the 633 I'm impressed with the low drag speed and turning. I also have the 683 and trying to like it... now ...

Re: Who has Crazyfly kite? Are they durable ? How is the quality?

I have a 7 and 9 Sculps and they are very durable and user friendly. This is my second season with them I'm not affiliated in any way and also fly other brands too. They use good quality materials and construction I think better than some bigger brands because you can see the attention to details. T...

Re: The end of kiteboarding in Florida?

Re: Moses 2018

I think the next size down from the 633 in terms of lift is the 683. but unless you're jumping there's very little downside of the 633 for freeride. its nimble not slow or boring it's not draggy and goes upwind very well. Also any little wave or bump generates speed so you hardly need the kite once ...

Re: Ozone Hyperlink 12M Ultralight

Weight on UPS store scale was 4.2lb or around 1.9kg including strap and tags kite was new. The HL ultralight is a great kite with probably the best low end and stability of any 12M kite I've flown, park it at the edge in marginal winds loop it hard or ride towards it and watch it drift you will get ...
