Re: Kitesurfing after hip surgery

I had labral tear after landing strapless into full splits- impact injury. It developed to bone on bone causing pain running down leg; restless leg; disrupted sleep; sharp pain at times; and loss of flexibility to the point of finding it hard to get socks shoes wetsuit etc on/off. I had full hip rep...

Boards with Tuttle box and tracks

I’ve noticed some new boards have both Tuttle box and foil mount tracks. How are these manufactured. Are the tracks just set aronund a Tuttle installation or is it one set of both?

Shimming a tuttle box

Wondering if anyone has successfully shimmed inside a tuttle box in existing board. I have a go foil with single screw so can't shim the wings. Have heard of it being done; even though there is limited movement in mast to box connection. I need less lift (less weight forward paddle foiling) so think...

Re: Beastmount breakage, your opinions?

Is the ugo mount wider than the beast mount. I find the beast mount needs to be put up higher on my ozone bar which affects (narrows) the vee. Ie it raises the Y point of centres. What is the width of the Ugo at camera (low) end. Also how is it for vibration??

Re: Soloshot3 a New way to film kiting

I think there is quite a few of us that have been waiting that long. How is the weather proof protector. Does it function ok with it on. I was considering adding it to order. (Wish they threw in s free one for the wait)

Re: Safety release on Ozone Reo

Did you hit your safety with your kite high? Always rig your kites safety line to be the top front line. Ie if your landing to the left it will be your right line. Fly your kite forward to edge of window until wing tip nearly touches and hit release and pull your safety line low at same time as taki...

Err everything! Volume Length Width Outline Weight Rails Tail design Rocker Bottom shape Fin setup Fin size Construction and weight Also looseness can be interpreted differently. For some it's a skatey board that breaks the fins to slide easily. For others it's an alive board that is super responsiv...

Re: Your Kite Pump is Killing you (WMFG Kite Pump Review)

I have the same problem with the hose with new ozone kites. Keeps popping off, as it does with others who have borrowed pump, even with the twist method. Definetly needs a hose redesign. I'm going to try taping adapter nozzle onto hose, and a layer of tape on nozzle as well, before I hack it to bits...

Re: Tried different bars but my kite STILL drifts to the rig

This is an interesting one. I launched my kite today and noticed that it was slightly pulling to the right, not to hard but enough to be noticeable. I brought the kite up to noon and let go of the bar completely and even when the bar was completely horizontal it would drift to the right. So, I land...
