Re: 2018 Naish Foils

I have the old tanky LF foil and I just let the wings stick to the fusalage, only reason I'd ever take them off is travel anyway. There is a lanolin based product that's suppose to work amazing well (but smells like mutton). Can't recall the name but I'm sure you can google it. Lanocote: https://ww...

Re: Where in The Americas is It warm and windy in june

This is a progression trip. Need conditions which are condusive to learning new things without the hassles of dangerous or no ...

Re: Mako King foil conversion

This is a bit different as it appears to be an actual surfboard compared to the King which is more like snowboard construction. Thanks again though.

Mako King foil conversion

Have had my trusty Mako King for 6 years and it has been a fantastically versatile board. Twin tip, strapped directional, strapless. Super smooth, awesome carving, and tough as hell. Going to ask even more of it if I can convert it to a foil. Looking for advice on the conversion. Seems like it would...

Mako King foil conversion

Looking for advice on the conversion. Seems like it would be somewhat straightforward for a plate. I assume an adapter would be needed due to the concave. Any special considerations regarding reinforcement and placement?

Thanks

Re: Helping me choosing my next TT board

Forgot to mention also got mine from Silent Sports where you benefit from the exchange rate. They are a bit cheaper but out of stock currently I believe that price is $CDN. The exchange was very advantageous on my Bronq. Of course that doesn't help at all if they are out of stock. Might be worth it...

Re: Helping me choosing my next TT board

+3 on comfort and smoothness of Shinn. I'm 5'11" and 175 lbs and had been on a Mako King and Mako 130 for quite a while. Had been keeping my eye out to replace the 130 with a more traditional TT and the Monk was always at the top of the list due to all the accolades of those who owned one. Ended up ...

Wow, that's light for a tough construction with 4 fins and a pad.
