Hi Beamrider I am 58kg :D Just like you. I kite in very light wind place Singapore. Usually 6 to 12 kts and at times 10 to 15kts. I use the V3 54 and 12M Lithium as my lightwind kite. Fir very light wind like 6 to 7 kts condition where even windsurfers on formula and 11M sails are not planning I get...
Nice Vid. I have a V3 54 as well.but have not used on surf yet..juts ocean swells..can't wait to try after watching your vid Noted that you are using Airush bar for REO..any issue with the length of lines??
Based in Singapore when winds are light most day 6 to 10 kts..Gotten my 54 3 weeks ago..increased my water times at least 2 to 3 times since..went go out with 12M Lithium at 6 to 10 kts of wind and still had a great time jibing and carving..once it is about 9 to 10 kts I can start doing some tricks ...
Have tried the V3 54 couple of times on very light wind form 6 kts to 12 kts on 12M Lithium.I am light 58kg. I find a struggle to go upwind at very light wind though planning. Has anyone try to use the race fin for the centre fin?? If so does it get much easier to go up wind? I was a wind surfer and...
guys..used 28M on 10kts of wind with 10M Vx..significant increase in power. As kite is small it is rather quick as well. Jumping a bit harder..but I guess 28M to 30M will be longest I will try
Has anyone try 30m to 35m lines on the new generation delta/hybrid kites for light wind? I have a 10M 2012 Airush VarialX which I use on about 8 kts with Sector with 23M lines (I am light) Thinking of extending to 30M and so can go a couple of kts lower..Comments and experience will be helpful..Cheers

Use a smaller kite like the Airush Lithium LW 14 of the Ozone Catalyst 13 if you are heavy or smaller kite. I am 60kg and I use a 10M Lithium/VarialX and I get going at abput 5 to 6 k...
