Vacuum infusion using top and bottom sheets.

Hi Im going through some process considerations... I want to use PBT top and bottom sheets on my next boards.. If I use vacuum infusion how would i handle the sheets? will the resin go everywhere including on the wrong side of the PBT sheets? or just follow the e-glass fiber on the inside... (does t...

Re: Royal kites.. Wheres my kites

Has anyone got the new 2013 kites from royal yet?? Is Simone delivering kites to those who have paid? If he is... I would say you are very lucky. Royal should give kites to those who paid for kites last year first... They should certainly send us kites before they start lining their pockets again!! ...

Re: Royal kites.. Wheres my kites

Small update here... Well there is nothing to update. No offers from Simon to rectify the situation. Im so disappointed that a company can take your money... Promise after promise... Send kites to all their "Team Riders" but not send kites to their paying customers/distributors. Then 'Oh we've got n...

Re: Quick release harness it time

My concept should not be too affected by sand (just need to keep the clearances sufficient) you could use it as the primary release (if you ride hooked in) otherwise as an O Shit release when something goes bad. I think I would keep my leash attached to the actual spreader bar, in case of release. I...

Re: Quick release harness it time

Here's an Idea Ive had for a while. The green part is a push away ring which is connected by the blue pin to a green shaft down the center of the hook shaft. when the green is pushed away the magenta shaft is able to collapse and slip out of the red bushing which is part of the actual spreader. and ...

Re: flexifoil Hadlow ID

Ive got the 12M, I found the bar reach was very far with the big CL but just right with the small one. I suppose if you're unhooking the power of the kite is set differently and the powered position is bar fully in.. compared to 70% in when riding hooked in. The boost on this kite is why i got it, H...

Mr Pryde makes a few good points. But reading the Olympic reports off 'Sailing-World.com'... Re: Corecell

Board thickness... How are you going to attach footpads..
What thickness are your Teenuts? Base board thickness on this.
Thick between footpads, this is where the board needs to be stiff.
