Leave your lines on the kite.....tie said kite to the leward rail face down into the wind like when you sit it on the beach. Jump in the water on your board unroll your lines and float away from the kite. Tie your chicken loop to your fotstrap and swim up to the kite to straighten the lines out. Onc...

Dude in 12 to 14 knots you need an 18meter of bigger kite like that. A 10 will fly but theres just no way youre going anywhere. Go to http://www.kitesurfpr.com and read the tunning tips for ensuring set up.

blow it up like normal but instead of just pulling the pump out slowly yank it out fast. It sucks the little "ball" into the hole and seals it. If not push it through from the inside to the outs ide and you have a normal no balls atatched bladder.

Th 16 type 5 has alot of power. In lbs we have a guy that rides it up to about 23 or 24 knots then hes blown away. He weighs 245lbs so i think you guys are close. Not too sure about his low end but pretty sure 14knts or so.

Long lasting and good performing kite.
