Re: Liquid Force - Fire your Canadian Distributor

They clearly don't have the best customer support in the industry - otherwise my issues and the the issues other people are posting about would have been sorted out..... or not even arisen in the first place. Try and find similar negative threads about Ocean Rodeo's lack of service.... You won't bec...

Re: Liquid Force - Fire your Canadian Distributor

OR bars do work, same kind of depower system/leash system etc. (OR lines have knots/loops opposite to LF so have to be swapped for LF kites)

I don't know what else works, sorry.

Re: Liquid Force - Fire your Canadian Distributor

John R forwarded my email to the 'International sales' guy, No response from him yet.... If i lived in the US, i guess I would have been sorted out by know - John answers his emails promptly. I guess LF doesn't pay as close attention to its smaller markets.... If anyone from Ocean Rodeo happens to r...

Liquid Force - Fire your Canadian Distributor

The QR on the 2008 LF bar is known to be faulty and replacements are being issued. I have contacted my retailer and he had been in touch with LF's Canadian distributor to get a new one several times..... still nothing..... (this began 4 or 5 months ago). I think you'll agree, this is a serious issue...

Re: No Pain, No Gain; Techniques on !!! How To Fall !!!

If you become disorientated and are not sure what the kite is doing etc, chuck the bar. If you still have a grip on what is going on, then keep hold of the bar and recover. Ass first is always the most comfortable way to land, i find. The only downside is the occasional case of ball slap, although t...

Re: Crossbow 16mts '06' Vs. Havoc 16mts '08

What is your weight? and what Windrange are you looking for? the 16M havoc is great if you are a heavy rider and pulls HARD, it is however slow and cannot be worked to great effect. I'm 180 and the biggest Havoc i would ever fly is a 14 - i currently use a 12 which gets me going in 11 knts on a 150c...

Re: SouthWestern Ontario?

I live in London and am part of a group of local guys that hit up Rondeau, Kettle Point and Erie depending on the wind direction. Rondeau bay has no ice and is one of the better places to ride due to no crowds, shallow, flat and it warms up really quickly. Port Stanley has virtually no ice either an...

Re: using hockey skates

i tried this a few years ago with a 10m PL Guerrilla in about 8-10 knts - fast ride for sure. Haven't had the conditions for it since. You don't even need to be a good skater - i couldn't skate well at all when i did it. I would do it again when conditions are right without a doubt. Where a helmet -...
