If I were them, I would start teasers to announce the change so the 2 names can be side by side for a few months and the new name will carry equity.

Re: I'll have to change my name now North Kiteboarding is no more..

I think the name was important when people were switching from windsurfing to kiteboarding. Neil Pryde folks went Cabrinha, Nort, well stayed North, Gaastra was not in Canada so they went to Ozone, Sailworks went Slingshot (same kind of philosophy). But now if you learn on a duotone and see a bunch ...

Re: Kite Refresh Advice Request

As for the board, the 155 is what I would go for. The bag is a good reason, if you travel, a 165 will lead to extra fees for sure. Also the difference on the width makes much more a difference on the wetted surface than a longer length. they have 45-47 and 48...You see that for edging reason they in...

Re: North airport valve- malfunction & repair

Well I would go by Dan's offer if he can help for sure but if you ever get feuds of that system, when it needs to be repaired one should look into the Cabrinha/Slingshot/Ozone options as all you need to replace is the screw in part (unless your valve's thread is broken). That way if you go on a trip...

Re: The Mythical One-Kite Quiver

Reviving this old thread... Anyone living with one kite nowadays? When I was 8 kg lighter, I could use my 10m Nobile 50-50 from 13-30 in the gusts ... pretty close to the one-kite quiver if you are willing to let light wind days pass by. With the foils and all I guess one could really live with a 9m...
