Re: 2016 LF Envy

The kite feels basically the same in each position but it really does affect how much the kite pivots. The low pivot setting is a massive improvement over the 2015 for unhooking and high pivot setting will really be useful for guys that ride the Envy in waves. It still doesn't drift like the WOW but...

Re: Double half cab tips?! Please.

Do it hooked and you get to name it, nobody has done it (on video) hooked before. ........ This forum is sometimes mind blowing. A hooked in back roll is a back roll. An unhooked back roll is a back roll. One is just shittier than the other. You don't get to name things because your chicken loop is...

Re: So why are C-Kites discontinued?

Whenever people tell me that bridled kites have more wind range I call BS on it. If you're doing freestyle/wakestyle, your unhooked wind range is actually dramatically smaller on a bridled kite. You cannot do tricks overpowered on a bridled kite like you can on a C. Hooked in, bridled kites have muc...

Re: 2015 Kite Warranty Issue

I have seen a few different brands explode from near new and because I do kite repairs I can tell you that much of the time it is due to a nick on the leading edge before hand either from self launching, crashing near the beach, or just from sitting and rubbing on a stick, grass etc. A LE repair is ...

Re: SS Vision vs Shinn ADHD any close andwhat differences?

Vision is stiffer, has less rocker, and has a grind base. The ADHD is more of an old school style construction of board that can be ridden with boots. Consider the ADHD if you won't be riding at the cable or hitting any features kiting.
