Re: Ozone Boston Valve Solutions?

If you purchased the wing new, there is an adapter in the spare parts bag. The adapter used by Ozone requires the user to use a little bit of force when inserting the adapter into the boston valve. One can give a slight turn if needed. The adapter should stay in if inserted properly and using the co...

Re: Ozone contact bar V5 - 23m and 25m lines?

Ozone does offer different length lines 10m, 13, 15, 20, 21, 23, 25, and 27 and well as different length extensions 2, 3, 4, 5 6, and 7m as well as race line starting from 8m to 25m (with 14 different length options available). From my understanding most Ozone Contact bars come with the 25m lines as...

Re: first foil for winging

Blu, Sounds like your foil would be fine for learning with the Gong board. Overfoiling on the 100cm will keep the learning entertaining !! :D Normally a slightly shorter mast would be recommmend, however since you already have a mast, no sense getting a new.

Re: What's the smallest kite you are able to use in light/moderate wind?

I got a Cloud quiver earlier this summer when I decided to start learning how to kitefoil. I got sizes 2.8, 3.7, 4.8, and 6.2. I use a SABFoil 633 wing. My weight=73 kg. So far I have used the 4.8M the most. It seems to be ideal in the 15-20 knot range. I use the 6.2 the second most. I have used th...

Re: Bacteria eating strut connectors

Strange that a manufacturer would use a very "yellowed" opaque color mold for their valves, as normally that is the color white or opaque PU tubing goes, when it is weak and breaking down. Would be interested to see the color of a brand new one to see if there was any color change as that can be an...

Re: Bacteria eating strut connectors

Dave1986, The valves you have shown look old based on the discolored yellow look (first photo) IMO and therefore I would expect them to have a very high probability of failing. I agree that the valves do look old. However this wing (and the valves) are less than 12 months old. It is possible a bran...

It is possible a brand new valve that has never been used and still in the sealed manufacture plastic bag can fail if "old"...

Re: Ozone Uno for a kid worth it or not

Magnusod, The 4m Ozone UNO or 6m can be used in lighter winds and is a nice size for kids. As a kid gains weight and or kite experience, can the kites be used in higher winds. You can see these kites on youtube being used by adults in high winds. The Ozone Compact bar which is the recommend bar for ...

Re: Foil kites on foil boards?

Gyre, Foil kites can offer incredible performance for foiling. Saying that LEI kites can also offer great performance for foiling. Deciding which option might be best for you can be down to many reasons. When pushing the light wind side of foiling typically the foil kites have the advantage. Like LE...
