Re: 7, 9 and 12 for a 100kg twintip rider

I am 110 kgs and use XR4 11, 13,5, 17 with 27m lines + Edge 19 with 32m lines. I also have a 9 that I use max once a year. You should have 10, 13 & 17 and a bar with 27m lines, you need the extra lenght because og your weight. And two stiff boards to match your weight, a light wind and a normal boar...

Re: Beginner Board Advice: Door vs Regular Large

The Ltd can work as a light wind board for your light weight, but the Raptor pro carbon is a better choice because it is faster and goes a little better upwind than the Ltd cause it has less rocker and less concaves that creates drag. Faster is always better in lightwind.

Re: Kiteboarding kit advise (Heavy rider)

If you live in a light wind area and are +100 kgs and know how to kite and are not interested in hydrofoiling, you should really try an Ozone Edge 19 with 30-34m lines on a fast flat rocker LW board, it is a lot of fun. It has way more power than any 17m tube kite and lets me often be the last one o...
