Re: Naish Grav D 2010 Adjustment

Well, after another 4 sessions, I finally got the straps how I wanted them. Have to say I never struggle to adjust something as simple as straps as much as I did with those ones. However the end result is really nice, the pad is really comfy, defintely hurt your heels less when landing hard. Funny t...

Re: Naish Grav D 2010 Adjustment

Sorry by adjustment id din't mean the stance but actually the strap themselves,
How did you set the 2 velcro straps? I tried to tightened the one the closest to the toes a bit tighter than the one close to the ankle but it would still come loose while jumping.

Naish Grav D 2010 Adjustment

Hi All, Just got a new 2010 Thorn CC (fantastic board by the way) with the Grav D 2010. After using the 2009 model I'm finding it hard to get use to the 2010 Grav D. I find them really big and even loose on my feet. I've tried to have them not to tight to be able to fit my feet completely in but my ...

Re: The World’s Most Complete Kiteboarding Range...is Now Online

Have to say that I agree with most on this thread. I'm a big Naish fan and rides mostly torches but to be honest the website is completely over the top and not that instructive at all. Was looking at the new Torch page and basically it's all about what a great kite it is and not really explaining an...

Re: How To Make Snap Shackles Safe

It's actually "funny" that this thread re-opened, I already read it before and saw the horrific picture with the hand but always classed it as a freak accident (I'm using the exact same type of leash than the one who got his hand caught). Last week a similar thing happened to me, I unhooked for a tr...

Re: Repair Busted Leading Edge

Question which shows my ignorance on the matter: How do you repair a bladder with a rip in it? Not a hole but a rip like the one you can see on the LE of those photos. I got mine repaired professionally but always wondered how they do it (welded it). Since the bladder is basically a tube, how do you...

Re: naish 2010 lineup..

i would say the the torch has actually had the biggest change from '09 to '10 far more than trailing edge and different wingtips, once the kites are available for demo that will be very clear. Now that's teasing too much. Come on give us more info please. I'm going to replace my 08 Torch real soon ...

Re: naish 2010 lineup..

Torch and Cult 2010 are already available in France, some shop seems to have stock already while other will have some by the end of july. Any idea when it will be available in UK? It also looks like there's not that many 2009 available any more, pity since it seems that there's only minor changes be...

Re: New Naish Torch 2010

Hey Balear,
Do you think it's worth the extra money compare to the 2009?
I'm flying the 2008 at the moment and love it. I tried the 2009 12 back to back after riding the 2008 and I have to say that I preferred my 2008, it felt somehow smoother than the 2009.

Re: Kite Trip in Algarve in September : Alvor or Tavira ?

Hey SpeedyRider, thanks for your reply. I'm going with my girlfriend for the holidays, I want some flat and shallow water for her because she's just at the waterstart level and I want to have the best condition for her to go. You mention that the wind was gusty, how gusty is it really? How oftne wou...
