Re: Why does nobody make narrow boards anymore?

my middle wind/top wind range kiteboard is 130/37 (an old TB kiteboarding mana 2005)for 70kg. i have a directionnal (not a surfboard, an ASKA board, like a TT construction but in a directionnal board, i ride it like my snowboard in snowkiting) board for light wind ( or low end of the kites), the lim...

Re: flysurfer sonic3, any news?

i used a speed2 15 for some years then my actual speed3 15 dlx for the past 10years (already?) in mountain lake conditions ( and snowkiting in non flat areas) my speed3 is dying slowly ( i should check a mixer test soon if i can revive her) probably non waterproof anymore ( but it almost never fell ...

Re: strapped directional board?

i use a custom directionnal board, aska board it has no volume at all ( well ,the same as a TT) 17/48 cm board ( 4 9cm G10 fins) i use it as my low wind board in lakes, unfortunatly i don t have the time or conditions to learn the jibe, so it s the plain old ass-in-the-water methode to turn it aroun...

Re: speed 4 18m in 9 kt

ok..so he s riding a bit close, ok.....the wind is 9 knots.....not 25knots , it s a ram air..so even if it crashes on kids, it wont obliterate them like a pumped hardtime leading edge.... last summer, i received a speed 3 19m in the head ( crossed the window too fast and too low, and one falling out...

Re: Different kite for snowkiting?

just use your LEI , just avoid to crash/rip it on ice, trees, barbwires, that s all. should be all fine. on snow/water:i used PL kites ( 4 lines C-shape water foils), i use flysurfer for snow/water, one kite for everything ( same QR, same kite behaviour) and did a bunch of self rescue with LEI, PL ...

Re: Good LEI/Closed Cell Foil Trainer Kite?

u also have the Flysurfer Viron, depowerable , can be used for landboarding snowkiting as well..less efficient on water as it doesn t go deep in the window. kid/trainer water kite.
