Using the S-ARC in 2 line mode.

I know you'll all ask why?

I just want to, that's why, heh.

Is it possible to setup an SARC 840 in a 2 line setup? If so, could you direct me to a site that explains this?

Thanks.

People in my area use them (SARC) and I've read quite often that ARCs are easily used for land and snow kiting.

That is part of their purpose, multi-purpose use.

I can't wait to give my SARC a go in the winter :D

Ignore the ram propaganda Talk about making a comment before looking at one self in the mirror *sigh* Ram airs are aerodynamically inferior to inflatables This always makes me laugh. I guess all Paragliders in the past 20+ years are all dumbasses who can't figure out that if they used inflatables f...

I was just out today with my S840, the wind was around 6 knots while I was setting it up, it self inflated.

If you can't inflate your ARC, you can't fly period (with any kite), meaning less than 4 knots.

Will Pump Me Up have a nervous breakdown?

The Peter Lynn team riders in Greece have had some excellent competition results in Paros for the first Greece kite surfing event for this year. The event was held in 21-30 knots with most riders getting out on 8m - 12m kites. Billy Paraskevopoulos pulled out a few tricks from his own bag to sit com...

Why I took lessons:

I live in Gatineau, which means my "neighbour" is Hung Vu.

Now IMHO anyone who would pass up to be tought by him, is a fool :thumb:

I got 10 hours of excellent teaching and saw LEI and foils.

Launching any 12.0M kite in these conditions is risky, but the auto zenith feature does assist a kite to loft people, even the owner admits that, today. Any arc rider who routinely walks around with his kite at zenith while he shows off getting a drink or having a smoke, food, etc, is an accident w...

Hey probably would not know himself if he did or not.

That's about right.

Problem is, I could not even reach mine, wind was blowing it away from me and I could not get to it. Even with the kite down the current was keeping it away.

Works great once you get your hands on the kite. :thumb:
