Re: Photos - LEN10'S potentially fatal 3rd jump, Tarifa

the 3rd jump is on the mystic website, he clears it (just)

if you are trying to stir up the safety argument, dimitri's jump & crash over that house / jetty would work better ;)

Re: Wave specific Twintips?

have a look at the jimmy lewis twin tips... they have large volume, narrowish tips and rounded topped rails, in fact the construction seems similar to surfboards

Re: Having a bad day? Watch this!

if that was filmed where i think it was, he was in the designated windsurfing area for 90% of the time.

but the riding looked fun.

Re: Contact information for Ozone warranty UK needed.

your first point of contact should be the shop where you bought the kite.
if necessary they can point you to the nearest distributor or ozone directly

Re: 4 line vs 5 line.

it is proportional to the size of the kites wingtip

ie for a small kite, try 170cm
for a medium kite (say a 10m) try 190cm
for a large kite try 210cm

if the distance is too short, the kite will still have some power.
if it is too long, the kite can still hover

Re: 4 line vs 5 line.

run the kite on 5 lines, and put a stopper ball around two meters up the 5th line (from the bar)

you might have to fine tune the distance, but it will stop the kite from inverting / hovering / wrapping

Re: short board?

works ok for park freestyle, rubbish in pow.

a mid sized & wide board will be more fun and more use in a variety of riding conditions

Re: High wind in UK in Saturday, I am wondering

if you have to ask, its not a good idea
(i've done it twice and wouldn't recommend it, or repeat the experience)
