What I did to replace the bullet, was carefully peal off the cloth, than slide the old bullet off and tape the cloth back. It's impossible to slide the bullet over the cloth and you need the tapered cloth to pull the rope through the new bullet.

After a lot of use the bullet wears, and the centerhole also. At first no problems. But at the lower temperatures right now here in the Netherlands, little pieces came off the bullet and the center hole wore out. I've replaced it for a Best bar upgrade with sliding stopper.
