tplowe... your point is still unaddressed, except that there might be a small-printed footnote now added somewhere on the website that states exactly what you suggested. Bottom line as I see it: let's play Q&A. Q - When do kites sell the most? A - Over the winter, peaking as Spring finally kicks in....

I would be interested to know if Windwing '05 will also use the stiff batten, or will you replace with inflatable bladders?

Seems several brands have come back to stiff battens in '05 , but this makes tight kite packing somewhat laborious.....

Did it 18 months ago, used Custom Lasik ... best investment ever! Resulted in 10/20 and 15/20 (that is 25% and 50% above "perfect"), no halo, and just slightly dry eyes for a couple weeks : amazing. Was 35 then, didn't care of the "will be back to glasses at 40" : presbyopia is not going to prevent ...

I would talk to an insurance agent about your homeowners or renters policy and whether or not it would cover kiteboarding. Some guys have bought additional rider coverage up to a $1 M USD.

From reading their website, it really seems like PASA insurance requirements won't fit the profile of most kiteboarders in my region, and many places in the US :cry: Does that mean that most kiters out there are kiting with no insurance, or am I the only one to have "missed the boat" th...

Rick.. I have felt a need to cover myself with appropriate insurance kiteboardign, without getting one yet. :oops: Is PASA the standard one for kiteboarding nowadays? If so, do you have a weblink for it?
