Re: When failure is the only option...

Ok I see Let me see if I understand U correct U use ventury valve connected to compressor. You pull out air from the bag and disconnect. The bag mentains the vacum for the time that resin needs to cure (lets say 12h)? If Yes, than I would consider building setup without ventury valve for the future ...

Re: Rails for strip built core?

Never consideret steaming the wood and have no real need for it. Rails are there just to seal the core from water and to easy tape top and bottom cloath 2gather. stiff materials for rails are for foam core boards. My idea which I latter erased as unneedet was to go with usual pvc rails. Alweys found...

Re: Rocker Nobile Skim

I used standard material for isolating the fasade (the cheapest you can get). Should have built adjustible rockertable years ago and the whole thing would be much easyer! Bottom, top same layer 2*200g glass+1*200g carbon+1*200g glass. completely enaught! The layers detached from core quite quickly, ...

Re: Rocker Nobile Skim

I made mine front rocker 7 cm and tail 1cm (without a lot of thinking/copy of pictures found on net). due to this exaggeration=I wouldn't call mine exactly a low wind board. Until the wind picks up i also have some problems gainning hight when riding it backwards! Posted som pcs on local forum: http...
