Re: Random aeration/ventilation of the rear stab.

Could be equipment and tuning but also experience. This used to happen to me often but much more rare with experience. I am still a foil hack but Going from straps to strapless really improve my riding and made it happen less. Also when I sense it starting via feel/noise my muscles react without thi...

Re: Foiling in waves

I don't get it. Riding the ocean on HF is fun. Different than than Surfboard but still fun and riding in/on waves. We ride right off the beach, right over our sandbars, in the wave faces in the white water and open ocean swell. I am challenged by it all and I do hit bottum over sandbars on occasion ...

Buoyancy aid / impact vest for waist harness

I use a ride engine waist harness with slider tope for foiling and I am looking for a better vest. I have the liquid force emerald and don't like it. It is too bulky and the big Velcro strap comes undone in big crashes. I have an Agenda surf wake vest I like better for it bring slim and just the rig...

Re: Foiling in waves

Why the extra mast length? Is it to get wings under white water at times when needed? I don't see the need the need for length to get over the wave or ride it. Gonna make interesting playing over a sandbar. I dont see any "extra" mast length mentioned ? Most of us use standard 90-100cm masts and no...

Re: Notus Air 12 weight

The Notus Air 12m is nice the 8m Air is a dream. I wish they had a 10m and 6m. The 10m would get a lot of use. Much more use then the 12m.

Re: Any of you hydrofoil freaks doing distance runs?

Peter, I love downwinders on a surfboard in good waves and wind. It is priceless though when it marginal surf/wind and your friends offer to give you a car ride upwind to do a downwinder. You say no thank you. I will meet you upwind by water. By the time they collect all their friends and pack 3-6 p...

I like doing long distance upwinders and downwinders in the waves. This was about 50 miles covered.

Re: Which inflatable do you find best for Hydro foiloing

I am not disagreeing your points 1-4. I do believe there are more nuances to a kite characteristics then your giving credit to. Your know it all attitude with absolute statements are a turn off. I almost bought Naish trips as I am a long time Naish fan but after reading you reviews I find it almost ...

Re: Which inflatable do you find best for Hydro foiloing

I find it amazing how people characterize a kite they have never seen in person nor used a few times. I mainly use the Zeeko Notus Air 12/8 on my Zeeko strapless mini pocket and carbon hydrofoil. I use the freeride wing mostly but use the carver wing a lot as well. The carver almost always in waves....
