Has anyone tried this? I'm thinking this will lighten bar pressure and give the kite some "feel", but I don't want to lose too much depower either.

What wind speed do you want to use this kite for the most? I want to use this kite from 12 - 22 knots approx I'm 240lbs and I'm on a 16.5 Ion2 in this wind range. I haven't tried other sizes, and that could be the thing. Buying another smaller T2 would overlap my Ion2's, which I wouldn't do anyway.
