Older Switch Methods - Check for LE/Strut fabric wear

I never sell my kites. I ride them until they fall apart. I am constantly amazed at the durability of my Methods. They have lasted 3 times longer than any other kite I have owned. Yesterday I dropped my 9m Method in the surf, and couldn't relaunch. It washed up onto the beach. There was sand trapped...

Re: Waist Harness Problems

Re: Waist Harness Problems

There are 3 things you can try: 1. Maybe you keep the kite too high, and your stance may be too upright. Try riding with the kite at a 45^ angle, and hike out over the board at a 45^ angle as well. Then the kite will be pulling on the harness perpendicular to your body. 2. Get a bigger board, and us...

Re: Hydrofoil during CFD analysis

I would re-analyze the simulation that gave the anomalous result. I would run a ladder series of simulations. I would keep the velocity constant, but would incrementally change the location of the rear wing, from some distance below the plane of the front wing, to some distance above the plane of th...

Re: Switch Rewards - Creating Kiteboarding History

I don't like reward schemes. The money for the rewards has to come from somewhere. Do you think the directors of Switch kites will accept a cut in their salary? Of course not! The price of Switch kites will go up to fund the reward scheme!
