That is probably the worst advice I have ever heard. If I were you I would launch the kite in the lower limits of it's range and work my way up from there. If your not comfortable launching it with the wind blowing 25 knots then I would sit out that day. In the end it's your decision, but I know fro...

I just read through all of the current posts and I find it hard to believe that nobody considers the safety system. For me that is the most important aspect. I wouldn't buy a kite that I didn't believe had a good chicken loop release and a good quick release, I don't care how well it flies. Just my ...

I am 200 lbs and ride a 07 6'0 Liquid Force surfboard. I live on the East coast and the waves hardly ever get to be more than chest high. I looked at the 5'9 RF and the 6'0 SRT but felt they were to thin and not wide enough for my weight and normal conditions. I love the Liquid Force board. I can ri...

I only launch towards the water. Where I ride the beach is not very big, a lot of erosion, so if I didn't launch towards the water and something went wrong, I might hit power lines or houses before I had time to react. I would rather get dragged through some sand and into the ocean than dragged thro...

Are you having that meeting in the Outer Banks. I have been wanting to get up there and ride in the slick. Do you have any idea about times, and location. I would be interested in driving up there to test these out.

I have a SB2 16M. I like it ok but when the wind is only 11 or 12 knots it stalls during the turn and I lose my board speed and end up sinking. When the wind is 14 to 17 knots it flies great. Turns faster and there is no stalling issue. Could just be me and the way I'm flying it but I've had it all ...

GOOD JUMPING 16M KITE

I am looking for a good, big air, 16 meter kite. I would like the kite to fly fast, jump high, and have good low end. Does anyone have any ideas to which big kite performs this. I would prefer it to be a bow, or hybrid with only 4 lines. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I don't believe that your lines are to short, I believe that they are to long. From everything that I have read and tried lenghtning the lines will cause your top end you decrease instead of increase. I say shorten the lines.

Monkey Griffin kite

Does anyone have any information about the Monkey Griffin kite. I would really like to know about the low end, high end, turning and durability of the kite. I just left their website and they are saying the windrange on the 12 meter is from 13 to 25 mph for a beginner-intermediate, and 12 to 35 mph ...

what is the low end on the nemesis like, compared to the cabrinha switchblade 2. I like the low end of the switchblade, but I'm not going to spend 1800 on a kite and bar anymore, unless there is nothing that compares to it. I know the north kites have a lot of low end but they are over priced also
