A couple of good videos to get would be "How to rip", and "How to rip Harder". It won't help much to watch "Total Insanity" or some other high-octane jump-fest (although it IS fun to watch those! ) They just are not set up as instructional. Good luck out there, and BE SAFE! Kites are amazing...

Hi Jido, Well, you got the essense of what I WAS saying in my first post! That in all of the serious issues that one can come across in this world, to have such a great luxury as to be able to just go out and have so much fun, to enjoy and play on the water is quite a blessing indeed! Can't ...

The fin should be heelside to help with upwind edging.

Have fun!

Thanks,

I'm busy searching all over the web for all the info I can get. Designs keep changing, and there are so many new ideas out there.

It's great to have so many options, but that makes it difficult to choose the right ONE!

Would you give a recommendation on another board then? I'm 90kg and usually ride a 7m F-one. (I'm thinking also of adding a Flysurfer 9.3 for the low end) I liked the looks of the outline of the prankster, but have not seen one in person. Thanks for the info. I think I definitely want a twin-tip. Mo...

Hi Toby, I'm in the Boston area, and the sport is definately getting more and more popular. There is one particular beach that just about everyone goes to, apparently it can get quite crowded. I don't go to that beach, I have my own "secret spot" I go to. Maybe only 1-2 other kiters would be out on ...

Isn't it great that we have the opportunity to worry about fun stuff like: "should I get a wakeboard, or a twin-tip this season?" Or to sweat whether to get a foil or inflatable kite: "well I've heard you can only get 15feet of hangtime with kite X, I'm getting Kite Z, I'll get at least 20feet of ai...
