Kelly Slater is a legend.

What he has done in and to pro surfing is gigantic.

Plus who wouldn't want to pummel a 'pap or two. Hell if someone shoved a camera in my face, I'd shove it right back up their asses.

I don't own a best kite (bought a bar and lines a couple of years ago) But I've got to say, I really appreciate Alex being on the board here and reading up on our discussions, concerns, and other rambling. Makes me feel that our feelings, ideas, etc. are going right to the top real fast, not thorugh...

I kitesurf in pretty polluted waters, and the first thing I think of when crashing is:

Oh no, this is going to TASTE like Sh*t!

I was thinking of heading down to Kenya for a bit of kitesurfing, looks real nice. Then I started to read up on Malaria, and that scared me, and I don't want to take those malaria shots, I've read they really mess up your kidneys or liver. So I'm interested, what's your take on the Malaria in Kenya?...

Black absrobs all the sun's light, and doesn't reflect anything. This generates heat, Physics 101. I have a kite that has black and white parts of it, I'll tell you the black parts of it sure do get much hotter than the white parts of it. I would like to talk about durability, but I can't since the ...

Take my oil, give me your money, I am an as*hole and I want to bomb you. Plus maybe buy a kite or two in the process. Well, ain't generalization a bi*ch. I could easily say all American's are Neo-Con Imperialists who are bent on invading, or arm twisting the rest of the world into doing whatever is ...

I've got a 13m and 9m (the 9m is collecting dust, haven't had any strong enough days to use it) But the 13m is a great kite, moves fast, pulls hard. Very happy with the kites, they are my first non-C kites, and I haven't had a run on my Cabrinha Nitro 2005 or Slingshot Fuel 2005 since I bought them,...

A Bow and a hybrid each have a different feeling to them, with pros and cons to each. Best way for you to know what that difference is to politely ask owners of both bows and hybrids in your spot if you can try out their kites in order to figure out what's best for you. Do not buy something because ...

Places with the crappiest / least wind

I'm sick of hearing of places with great wind. This post is for places where the wind is crap, non-existant, or never shows up. Lets all drown our sorrows together. I'll be the first and say Kuwait is crap for wind right now, crap crap crap...... no wind whatsoever, not even a little fart. It's been...
