Re: Looking for comfortable sleepers: nothing like good pads

Thank you very much for the advices. I m glad to see that I am not the only one with this existential doubt down there. I ve read a couple of times that North entity would not adapt always well with other standard kiteboard, or at least it could force you to use a weird setting. Pity because they we...

Looking for comfortable sleepers: nothing like good pads

Hello there, I have a 2009 RRD Poison Contest, which I absolutely totally adore (and every day more when i compare it with other boards), but as the main drawback i would say that the pads/straps are quite bad, and for sure not comfortable at all. By trying a RSC supreme this summer, I realized what...

Thank you very much to all for your input.

We got the board for more than 30% discount and the defects are very minor!

Carbon twintip with defect worths the discount?

I have the opportunity to buy a rsc supreme twintip at very good price but the board is in carbon and has a slight defect that was fixed by the shaper with another layer of carbon. My question is if it is safe to buy a carbon board with a defect or it might break more easily under a tough reception....

Bandit 6 with any standard 4 lines bar?

A quick question:

Does anyone know if the bandit 6 can work with any standard 4 lines bar?

No weird length or connections?

My brother is planning to get an Airush Analog bar in substitution to his bar to use it with a f-one bandit 6.

Many thanks in advance,
y.

Re: An existential doubt regarding pop!

I still don t get it.

Might be the language issue, sorry for being so slow...

What do you do mechanically?
Do you lift your front foot? Do you lift both of your feet?

Thanks again

An existential doubt regarding pop!

Hello there! I ve been kiting for almost a decade now, and meanwhile I can jump quite well using kickers or throwing the kite, i just realized how much I suck at doing a clean pop on flat water without moving the kite. The pop sequence as I know it is the following: 1- Build speed - slightly going d...

Re: Perforated tympan: the hazzards of breaking waves

Perforated tympan: the hazzards of breaking waves

Here I thought that I should share my story and seek for advice. Last sunday I went kiting: 15knots and some choppy waves, what appeared to be ideal conditions for kiting. Just leaving the beach, I faced a wave (not too big: 1m20) and miscalculated its speed thinking I would be able to jump over it ...
