Re: Chinese KB Hydrofoil : 300 USD + shipment

Your timeline does not match up Dwight. The LF rebranded Foil came out at Naish before the whole Surf Foil hype started. I am pretty sure that Naish was never interested in bringing Alexs Foils to Market. There is no exclusive deal with Starboard as far as I know. Starboard can get SB branded Foils ...

Re: Revl Arc cam: Anybody preorder one?

Believe me once this camera is in the hands of consumers, it better deliver on it's stabilization or it will be dead in the water before year one is half over. The mountain bike footage will be the proof for me and many others. Not needing a gimbal is really something mountain bikers have wanted fo...

Re: Revl Arc cam: Anybody preorder one?

Try a Go Pro 6. The digital stabilisation is pretty close to what gimbals can do. Way better than the example videos of the REVL.

Re: Which watch for real-time speed read out

I would recommend the SUUNTO Ambit as well. I reality you will not be looking down at your watch when trying for a speed run. I have an app programmed that beeps when I reach my target speed. This is safer and more practical than looking at a watch when going fast.

Re: Revl Arc cam: Anybody preorder one?

It's beyond ridiculous that after all this time there is not a single proper independent review out there. Despite all the apparent production issues it must be practical to get a final version out to a reputable tech reviewer, allowing us normal Joe public to get an idea of whether it is worth buy...

Re: Revl Arc cam: Anybody preorder one?

I can't stomach buying another camera and this stabilizer mount looks promising ... dunno if id ever use the timelaspe function but thats a cool option. Anyone have experience with it? https://noirmatter.com/pages/quark Yep. I really think this is a great solution. Combined with the GoPro 6 digital...

Re: Balance question - before I get my drill out....

Hi Noob question. Been out about 10 times in very varied conditions and kites. RL variofoil with 70cm mast. In good conditions I'm foiling OK, but it feels like I need to keep all my weight on my back foot so not very relaxed. And toe-side foiling seems impossible at the moment (although the board ...

Re: wings for using smallest kite possible

So Gunnar, if I'm already an "intermediate ", foiling around and managing most of my gybes on one side, toeside to heelside turns going better, going into switching feet in air learning phase. I'm also interested in this approach to use small kite and gave fun. I'm looking at the new Moses 590 fron...
