Re: Revl Arc cam: Anybody preorder one?

It's beyond ridiculous that after all this time there is not a single proper independent review out there. Despite all the apparent production issues it must be practical to get a final version out to a reputable tech reviewer, allowing us normal Joe public to get an idea of whether it is worth buy...

Re: Revl Arc cam: Anybody preorder one?

I can't stomach buying another camera and this stabilizer mount looks promising ... dunno if id ever use the timelaspe function but thats a cool option. Anyone have experience with it? https://noirmatter.com/pages/quark Yep. I really think this is a great solution. Combined with the GoPro 6 digital...

Re: Balance question - before I get my drill out....

Hi Noob question. Been out about 10 times in very varied conditions and kites. RL variofoil with 70cm mast. In good conditions I'm foiling OK, but it feels like I need to keep all my weight on my back foot so not very relaxed. And toe-side foiling seems impossible at the moment (although the board ...

Re: wings for using smallest kite possible

So Gunnar, if I'm already an "intermediate ", foiling around and managing most of my gybes on one side, toeside to heelside turns going better, going into switching feet in air learning phase. I'm also interested in this approach to use small kite and gave fun. I'm looking at the new Moses 590 fron...

Re: Revl Arc cam: Anybody preorder one?

Yes. The stabilisation is not perfect, but a huge improvement over the Hero 5. and it's better than any other action cam I have tested so far. Check out the kiting videos in my Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/p/BbeNJM3FoLJ/?taken-by=kitechino Stabilisation in really apparent on landings. -- Gu...

Re: wings for using smallest kite possible

Unfortunately for you "race" wings are the solution. Race wings are not just for racing. A higher aspect wing will always be more efficient than a lower aspect wing of the same area and will allow you to achieve a much higher apparent wind and therefore need a smaller kite. Big sup/surf foils are o...

Re: wings for using smallest kite possible

I wanted opinions on the type of foil wings that would allow use of smallest kite for the given wind conditions. Would it be a low aspect, large beginner wing, or a very large surf foil, or a medium aspect free ride wing, or something else? It seems you want early takeoff but also good glide charac...

I don't want to consider race wings. Thanks Unfortunately for you "race" wings are the solution. Race wings are not just for racing.
