Sicily Super Kite Spots

Thanks -

We plan to be there from September 22 to the 29.
I know only two spots (Stagnoni and South East Pozzallo)
Where are these 2 spots?
Do they have places to rent kites?

We will arrive at Palermo, then we'll drive west a bit and then to Agrigento. Then Syracuse and Aetna.

Thanks

Spots in Sicily

We'll be in Sicily in 2 weeks. If the wind is there, we may try to kite. Is there a good spot to kite?. Are there some shops or school that rent kites and boards?

Thanks

Thanks

Thanks for your feedback. I was also looking at the website http://www.rene-egli.com/ . They are referring to a lagoon. Can you actually ride on the lagoon or is it too small and overcrowded? I am a bit worried about the offshore direction of the wind in Sotavento. So from that stand point Corralejo...

Canaries - Fuerteventura

Guys- I am thinking of going to the Canaries at the end of September. Has anybody been to Fuerteventura for kiting? what would be the best spot Sotavento , Corralejo? It seems that the wind at Sotavento is mostly side-offshore? Is that correct? How safe is it to kitesurf overthere? Has anybody been ...

2003 Fuel 17 vs Toro 2 16

Did anybody get the chance to try both kites? I believe that they have very similar programs. How do they compare to each other?

Thanks

Side of the leash

Fly your kite low so that the bottom wing tip is almost touching the ground. Make sure that you are landing the kite to the opposite side to that of your leash. Some kites (such as North Rhino II) have a leash ort a grab handle so that you can land on either side. What happened if the leash is on t...

I am thinking of going there myself by the end of February. I am getting depressed here in DC where the snow keeps falling. I will be flying only for a weekend, so I think I'll pick one place only. If you had to pick, would you recommend the East or West coast of Florida? I am thinking of Jacksonvil...
