Re: Kitesurf Thailand in begining of February

Hi! I had a good experience from Hua Hin 3 years ago in February! I was there for 2 weeks and the wind was constantly on from 16-22 knots. The wind was then NE, but what the locals told then, was that from February on the wind should shift to SE whilst becoming more stable and strong. Then I would p...

Re: California kiting in July

If you're lucky, couple dolphines may go along with you :). WOW!! How cool would that be?? :D As we start our trip from southern California, I guess the Huntington beach would be the first potential kite spot for me.. I'll definitely give it a shot.. and my girlfriend is a semi-pro sunbather, so sh...

We'll be driving more or along the coast between San Francisco and L.A. Surely there are many good spots the...

Re: southern europe during summer

Even better that esposende, imho, is Viana do castelo about 20 kms further north. Huuuge beach with easy waves, but the magic is, that beyond the waves the water is smooth and not too choppy. Esposende is also nice, especially the lagoon side, but it probably gets guite packed during the summer. Che...

EH Rippehr 9 vs. 10

Yello! Any experience on new 08 Rippehrs, 9m2 or 10m2? Im considering for a purchase of either 9 or 10 as a kite for winds +20kts to complement my quiver with 13 m2 C-kite (EH Wave). My weight is somewhere around 86kgs and I would be very interested about high and low ends of these sizes. For instan...

Any Porto kiters around?

Olá! I´m coming to Porto next January for half a year for my studies, so I´d have some questions about the local kite scene. First of all, is it possible to go kiting during the winter ("when the wind is shit") season? or do I have to wait until april or something? Secondly, I...
