Re: Pocket Kites looking for ambassadors!

Oh that's how you carry keys, I've been doing it wrong all these years! Does the shape fit snugly in the pocket for us 'old timer's' who like to put everything in the pocket (usually a front one)? is it flexible? Heya Ok, if no one will tell anything, I will :) If the key chain can crack a beer open...

Re: Stem Cell Treatment for Shoulder?

I agree, I am fascinated to hear more about such treatment, well from recipients and medical professionals. Not others. This is particularly relevant to sports injuries. As a kiteboarder with shoulder issues, aggravated by kiteboarding, and with a better half having her own set of shoulder issues, I...

Re: crazyfly raptor ltd 2018 vs normal pads/ straps??

Not sure if this helps, but I put 2017 Hexa pads on a 2016 cabrinha Tronic, it was a tad tight but ok. Don't think the Hexa's have changed size, so C/F and Cab spacings must be similar? Lots of assumptions there, so need to check. Powerkite shop always seem to know what they are talking about when I...

Re: How hard?

A few years ago, you would often launch folks and the bladder would feel quite soft, you'd say something, they'd shrug and off they went.
Of recent years I rarely, if ever feel a soft kite when launching someone.
Suggests information and equipment (pump gauge) has helped.
Anyone else noticed this?

Re: Moving from Switchblade to FX

So you are saying the FX goes upwind better than the leg breaking Switchblade in some wind? interesting, quite different from every other review I've read. Would like to have an FX in my quiver, but this has been an issue - until now! you need real strong legs for switchblade when u are overpowered ...

Re: How hard?

Never really had a problem using a gauge. Just need to remember the approx pressure for each kite and when it gets close on the gauge, just give it a quick squeeze or two to check. My own preference is probably on the high side. I tend to leave it short of a few strokes if its a hot day, we don't ha...

Re: Ozone Edge V8 15m

Nice kite. But do set your expectations well, assuming you can’t demo one. Jump well and the 15 likes some wind to be impressive. Great feature is Hang time. However it is slow across the wind wind - high aspect and I could easily fold the wing tips in turning, but I’m a bit heavier. Water relaunch ...

Re: Moving from Switchblade to FX

For what I ave seen on the water the FX does not go so good upwind as I go with my switchblade, but still does it's job.Considering to keep my Switchblade 12 and 9 which are a little worn out, this are the kite I start kiting with so they have taken some beating, and add maybe a 10-8 and 6 FX. That so...

Re: Kitesurfing Inside World Sailing is Illegal

There actually is a big impact. I tend to agree with Toby - can't see how. An examples is losing control of your sport to sailing entities including them influencing rules and regulations in law ( of your sport) in your country. This may include maritime regulation, your ability to get lessons and ...

Re: Kitesurfing Inside World Sailing is Illegal

I tried to read that article on 2 occasions and firmly lost the will to live!
Is there any direct effect on folks that don't compete?
