Re: Black Friday Kiteboarding Deals 2018 - Who offers what? Spleene joins the party

Oh, you forgot to mention delivery is extra outside Germany/Austria! 10%? Re: Broken control bar

Personally I would always favour new/newer equipment, in it's complete original form to answer your question directly and would recommend this. However, if for some reason a person wanted to change out the 'bar' element of the complete set up, this could be possible and would probably need an experi...

Re: Broken control bar

I think you lit your fuse a bit too early. Read his whole paragraph before ranting; Let me try to clear it for you: the bar is just that. The bar. Nothing wrong with my 2005 Cab bar. The bits and pieces with the bar tho makes a control bar, and than you do this: Matty is funny, one should see his ow...

Re: What is kitesurfing for you? This it is for me

What are you on about....? Kiting close to beach users whilst at the same time preaching about safety on the voice over .....well, it's a little ironic, maybe... As for "stony ground.......", it's a quote from a well known book. May I be the first to wish you happy Christmas! ......."and some...

Re: Pain at the Elbow - Kiter's Elbow: Treatment & Prevention

This below, worked like magic for me. Just start with the red bar, then see if you need a stronger one later. (Amazon sell them) Google Theraband tennis elbow and golf elbow exercises, I'd recommend doing both if you can (not too painful). If I get a flare up, I use Ibuprofen (gel if possible - over...

Re: Waist and seat harness in the same session?

Yep, if I've not kited in a while, then go on a kite trip, I may take both harnesses as my abs will ache with just a waist harness.(I know I should keep in shape, do exercise blah, blah, I'm fat and lazy!) Switching it around really helps. Doing what feels good helps. Seat is also good for, if its h...

Re: 7, 9 and 12 for a 100kg twintip rider

Learn golf, you really can play in no wind! 116Kg 10,12,14,16. Switchblade 10 & 12. Velocity 14 and 16m If i was your weight (again), in the winds I kite generally, I'd go 9, 12, 15 and have a a couple of TT boards, My only tip from the 3 pages is; make sure you try a 14m Switchblade before you buy ...
