just two things 1 you guys are hard core going out when it is so cold. I was just talking to my mom and she says there was knee deep snow everywhere a couple of weeks ago. I am glad i moved to Australia so the locations you are talking about aren't my local spots. Might be back in December for a sno...

don't be a dickhead... don't stress about the sharks...if you made it to the beach on sydney roads alive you are doing well statistically and the Noahs Arcs aren't an issue in the bay. You are a lot more likely to hurt yourself by going inland to lakes with crappy wind effects than staying on the co...

WA's a good idea. It is a little late in March/april/may for WA's best season but you don';t want the 20-25 knot seabreezes WA summer promises as a beginner -15knots is much better. I was in WA last March for a comp and there wasn't much strong wind but perfect for learning. You can always move up o...

Careful to anyone travelling to the States or anywhere abroad as well. Some travel insurance doesn't cover accidents occured while kiteboarding. Read the fine print or you might not be insured and then loose your house. My wife and i got worldnomad insurance and they cover things like mountaineering...

The Best kites can take a pounding for sure though yes every kite is designed to fly and not get pounded by surf. A couple of months ago i came off in big surf in Cronulla, Australia and the wave that i thought broke my leg since one foot stayed in the footstrap also hit my kite and i got a pull ive...

what the f*** are you tieing the kite to your fingers for. Boony you and your dumb arse comments aren't welcome here. This is a very serious subject and you go make a mockery of it. We are talking about bacteria living and breeding on our kite lines, I heard that there was a guy off the coast of BC...

I would suggest giving your bar and lines some sort of an antibacterial rinse after every use. Maybe bleech- Never can be too careful!! Maybe time to trade the 3/4 gloves for some full gloves.

30US for a 2 hour session for one and 40US for 2 students is a bit of a ripoff in the DR even though it is one of the best paying jobs in the area. Oz has been much better to me with more like 65US for 2 hours plus more like 120 for two students for 2 hours.
