Re: Zeeko Spitfire Hydrofoil

Thanks Ronnie,

I had a good look, and yes I see the breach, it looks quite minimal. certainly not like the ones where he crashes.

That said, i've never foiled so I have no idea how breach friendly foils can be :)

Ciao

Re: Zeeko Spitfire Hydrofoil

Thanks for the video Nicolas, (couple of other questions below) I understand for kiting, XXLW means no jumps, which is OK as i'm not interested in jumping and want to ride strapless Maria, told me the XXLW foils sets you have at the moment are for 70 cm mast. Other guys have said 70 cm work well for...

Re: Zeeko Spitfire Hydrofoil

Hi Nicolas,

Any news of the XXLW release? :) :)

@ Bragnouff, thanks for the advice ;) . I’m still leaning towards the xxlw setup. I kind of like the idea of having something for both for sup and kite. I could later get xlw’s for driving a bit harder on the kite!

Re: Zeeko Spitfire Hydrofoil

Thanks Nicolas! I gather AVS is not directly transferable between wings otherwise i'm sure you would give it to us from day one, right? Bummer, I'd take all the help i can get :) So it sounds like a 70cm xxlw is a good place to start. will the XLW wings mount on a xxlw fuse/mast set up? it would be ...

Re: Zeeko Spitfire Hydrofoil

Back on Spitfire track  Nicolas, About the AVS we will add it next season on the Spitfire wings does that mean season 2018?..... for the XXLW? I am going to make the jump to foiling this summer and am attracted to the Spitfire XXLW. I think the spit will help, by not relearning the back foot m...

Re: Zeeko Spitfire Hydrofoil

Very interesting. I’m thinking the xxlw for my intro to kitefoiling. I was interested to see the video cuts away each time there is a front wing breech. It would be good to see the full edit showing the end of each ride, falls and all.

Want to know when the xxlw is available !!!!!!

Re: Blaster kitefoil by Zeeko (AVS)

Hi Nicolas, The blaster is a front foot pressure ride, compared to the spitfire xlw, that would be more traditional board set up. How else do they differ? For that once in a lifetime purchase, would you go xlw or blaster (needs: not to fast, mushy chop and wind blown breaking wave riding, also low w...

Thanks Peter,

Perfectly clear! Make up some foot lockers and have a foiless run to get used them.

Thanks again!

Re: Airush choptop 5’3” as a foil board

Thanks Borist, I think I remember why, but could you refresh me on why heavy foil floaty board make it tough to start? As I make my own boards (apart from this one) there have been some strange ones, including a 66 x 170cm monster directional (strapless). I have never found waterstating any of them d...
