Re: Best split boards 2016

I’ve been interested in getting a split board for years. But the prices seem to be about double a normal boards price. Also, I love my Crazyfly Raptor board and haven’t had to pay extra traveling with it in a golf style bag.

Re: what's better? 2 old Cab SB kites or 1 new one?

I just got 2 new 2018 sb 9 and 11, replacing 2012’s, and really liked them. Rode the 9 almost every day. I would go for a new kite.

If you wait a month or two, next model year will be out, and you can a new 2018 at a discount, or get the newest model.

Re: 2-way waterproof radio /headsets?

Maybe try hacking the radio, maybe crack open the case and taking out the electronics and consider the best arrangements on or in the helmet and then figure out how to secure them an waterproof them. I’ve had good luck using silicon sealer from the hardware store to as a glue and waterproof material...

Re: Stem Cell Treatment for Shoulder?

An experienced orthopedic surgeon said they wouldn’t recommend it for a particular knee injury because it could cause more scar tissue to grow. I haven’t researched it but would be cautious given the advertising I have seen that seems to position it like a miracle cure and some of the some of those ...

Re: Epirb? flares? 2 way radio set to maritime channel, cell ph in a waterproof case?

Garmin’s web site says the InReach Mini will not be available for another 3 to 5 weeks. Other than the subscription cost it is hard to beat, and the small size is outstanding since the best rescue device is the one you have with you at the time you need it (too big and it might be left behind). The ...

Re: Epirb? flares? 2 way radio set to maritime channel, cell ph in a waterproof case?

Inreach Mini uses a subscription satellite system (with 2 way messaging), on Iridium. Inreach requires a cell phone like contract to have any functions including SOS. Also called the parent company of Ocean Signal (PLB1), Artex and asked about their new version that looks like PLB1 and it is bigger ...
