My review of the accident reiterates what PowerPersonified wrote. I knew Jason and he was a very experienced kiter. The others kiting at the time were on 9m to 13m kites, mostly 10m and 12m. Eric addressed this on the EH/Freak Dog forum. He went out with his pros and did some testing and didn't like the results. He did say hes working on some new ideas for the next generation EZE.

Urban, The 13m EZE will out-perform your 17 Waroo for the light winds. I'm 205lbs (92kg) at 15kts I'm getting overpowered on the EZE. Thats when you want your 12m RippeEHr anyway. Like the others have posted, it takes some time to get used to the kite but it rocks in light wind. Edited cuz I sounded...
