Am sure I recall Fanatic kites back in the day - flat design with inflatable leading edge and battens as struts ?

Looks like there are two separate requirements here: Firstly, a user friendly ladies learning/intermediate kite - secondly, a high wind kite that will satisfy a more experienced (male) rider. Like Strekke says, for free styling the Dice possibly the better choice of the two, but, if the priority is ...

For sure if you are limited to your existing kites bring the 8.0. If you ride a directional you may find the 8.0 too big on quite a few occasions - but then you can go out earlier in the day as the wind generally peaks from around 3pm.
