Children and Snowkiting

So I would not even consider letting my 6-yr-old use a kite on the water. But for some reason I would on the snow, she has expressed interest in it. She's actually a competent skier - pretty good "hockey stop", good edging. Ok or not OK? Was thinking about a 2m trainer kite, bar, wrist leash. Harnes...

Thanks for the link, I saw that earlier. Ryan had lots of interviews to watch, generally very informative. Have not seen any info, anywhere, on Underground 2008. Adrian hope you can give us some insight into what your doing for the boards in 2008. What is in the final phase of testing, what are team...

Love the Superfreaks as well. I have the new Oneill version and they are almost as good. I did have to open up my footstraps a little to accomodate the extra thickness. Looks like these folks to have the ones you want on their website. Thanks for the motivation, I ordered myself a pair, hopefully th...

I'm looking at the Custom as well or maybe an Imperial, and some feedback. I was riding a UnderGround 132 - 2006, really liked it for carving (on rails), and had nice "pop", but for some reason that board was always throwing a spray off the nose of the board into my eyes. So I got rid of the UG and ...

Bust out the trainer kite, you can do that together, without much fear of a "dispute" happening and could even be a great time!

Also if you get 2 or 3 hours of flying time in on the beach, it will save you time and money with the professional lessons on the water.

SKIM Board or DOOR Board

Need some help here as I have been unable to try either. I have a 2 board quiver; an underground FLX 132, and an Amundson 5'10" surf board (my favorite -love the waves). I want to add a light wind board to my quiver, I would use the board with a 14 or 16 meter kite, I weigh 185 pounds. Which one can...
