2012 Naish Park setup

Hi, for all those Park owners out there I was wondering which setup you are using for each dicipline. I have a 8,10 and 12 park and ride both wave and freestyle. When I ha my old helix I had the back lines shorter for unhooking which completely changed the kite, any useful tips for the new parks?.

Re: Cabrinha 2012 - News from representative gathering?

Its nice that your dealer likes you enough to leak photos to you, but im sure that same respect should be reciprocated by not posting them online. There is HEAPS to look forward to in the Cabrinha 2012 line up, plenty of new additions and re-imaginings just be patient. :D

Re: board design software?

Iv designed a few boards now using a mixture of Solid Edge and rhinoceros 3D.
Solid Edge/Solid works are very expensive programs but i think u can get Rhino pretty cheap.

Re: kitewing?? is this stupid?

In my opinion, YES. they need a fair bit of power to get you going decently and not hugely manoeuvrable. That being said it is still EXCELLENT to see people trying to Innovate wind sports. Challenge the status quo, changing the colours of standard bow/hybrid/whatever goes into marketing these days d...

Naish Park Tuning tips and tricks

i'm a new owner of the parks and since its been a while now since the Naish Park has been released i encourage all owners share your line setups according to style and size kites i.e "my setup for a 10m in surf" or "blah blah" for unhooking etc. Do any of you bother with the LWR line?. Is it worth u...

Re: Where to stay in Hatteras for a long weekend. Watermens

Don't stay in the Waterman's. That place is an overpriced bad joke. Even if you stay there you are not allowed to use their launch site unless you take lessons. Very frustrating. Take your Mom to Ocracoke for a day-trip. It is a magical place. Where are you getting your information from?. Watermans...

Re: 2010 Naish Helix setup advice and Experiences

So far i'm running a bar on the short bar setting and have removed the yellow flagging line to eliminate clutter. I haven't yet played with the knot settings but as soon as anyone does please post your experiences.

Re: 2010 Naish Helix setup advice and Experiences

I have my kites currently on the factory knott and short bars. when i unhook the kite stalls and collapses unless i have depower on. The manuel says to change to the last knott for freestyle, can anyone vouch for the improvements of this setting?

2010 Naish Helix setup advice and Experiences

I'm getting more into unhooked freestyle riding and as such I'm wondering what is the bet setup to put my Helix's on. I have a 10.5m and a 7m. I dislike needing to pull on some depower before unhooking to prevent the kite from back staling and was hoping i could set it up a little more C style. (lon...
