from my point of view it is easy: the stiffer a material is, the more problems you will get after a while with folding, packing....
Obviously the stiffer material should have advantages in flight.
Need Aluula? I guess not when looking to some very successful and performant models

maybe he is now telling that production is 70% because he is running an own production?
I would say this statement is ridicoulos. Even if you use Aluula on a shity design it will remain shity....

i do not really care about the material they use (guess FS knows in general what they do) i would like to know how it performs....
was there any competition, comparison with the VMG2 taking part?

i never heard about any paraglider having no breakes....so it really was never done before what FS now announces with the VMG2

really sounds strange that they try again to bring a foilkite although their designers think that this type of kite is crap....
guess they have seen so many SOULs out there that they could not resist.

lighter would be always good but then it surely will become less durable....
for me no need but would like to have an easier air outtake.

i owned a PULSE2 as well and would say that the SOUL is way better in terms of material and workmanship.
Guess you only had bad luck. The cover of those lines could be easily hurt by hard things like stone and else.
This has nothing to do with material.

unfortunately only in german language...testers were enthusiastic about performance, stability, hangtime and lift...and honestly the good restart ability
