Re: Upwind Board

We need to know what kite you are using . At your weight you should be on a 10 or 9m in that kind of wind and powered up. . As a previous poster said, the 2hd is good all rounder and the T5 is good upwind but not so good in chop. In 16-24 knots, any type of board around a 134-138 should be good for ...

Re: Slingshot Knee Swacker new board

Ahh the kneeswacker. Great light wind fun for heavier guys (200lb+). Similar outline to the Airush Sector. Sector is wider and has a flatter rail at the aft and bigger fins. Swacker is 22 and a half inches wide. Effortless for learning to gybe and way better than mowing the lawn on a twintip. The bo...

Re: Best bang for your buck Quiver

Just remember ,advertised price is not the price you pay if you phone the kite shop. Usually is a few hundred bucks cheaper than advertised, and never do web orders because the shipping will cost you.

Slingshot Dialer 5'10 or a Slingshot Kneeswacker. Nice wide boards to get you up early. No straps.

Re: Euphoric moment!!

It seems more and more riders are going directional. It's a different stoke for sure, always challenging and indeed a spiritual thing. Not being locked into your board is a free feeling. The speed and carves never get dull. It's the first board i reach for. Your riding might inspire you to write mor...

Re: Airtime Orange Bladders

I am not 100% sure but I don't think you can get an Orange Cabrinha bladder from airtime because the valves they use are different from most other companies. The valves that connect to the strut hoses are designed to have the shell on the LE screw around it, unlike the clear rubber stick on ones fro...

Re: IKO Level 2 senior and examiners Exam, who have done onl

As a Level 2 iko instructor, Yes it doesn't really mean much anymore. I think the IKO is on it's way out for sure. It was a handy certificate to have for employment that's all and shows you have bothered to take a course in kiting instruction. That's all there was back then. As an independent instru...
