Re: Please Lose the Straps

Funny. After riding windsurf boards then kiting with surf boards, it was way easy to ride with out straps, at least in shoulder high or smaller. Very nice not to have those pesky straps in the way that were on the windsurf board. That being said, more than half the time I usually ride with straps. E...

Re: Naish Forum Chat! Ask all your Naish 2014 questions here

Naish Kites have been my favorite. I would love to pick up a new quiver of Parks. Great feel in the hands, great looks, great Hawaiian persona, love the versatility of the Park kite. Probably my all time favorite kite to fly. I stopped purchasing Naish kites due to the inflation system. What do you ...

Re: Surf Kiters - Inserts vs. No Inserts - You Decide

Just trying to see where this sport is going from a kiters standpoint and it looks as if most kiters are wanting the strapless concept with all the added benefits of lightness, flex, performance. My final thought, ditch the inserts and let the kiter add pads/straps if he/she wants. End of story. I ...

Re: Surf Kiters - Inserts vs. No Inserts - You Decide

I want to have the option of riding the same board strapped and unstrapped. Obviously you have seen the airs guys are getting (not me). Standing and riding our boards for hours on end, is very different from paddling onto a wave, riding a while, and then waiting for another wave Make our boards stro...

Re: Dumpster diver for kiting

A friend has a 5.8 dumpster diver.
It's an incredibly fun board to ride!!!!!!! :D

Super fragile, heal dents easily. Hairline cracks on the bottom as well.
Friend only takes it out occasionally.

I've often thought of sending it somewhere to get replicated.

Re: Los Barilles, Lord of the Showdown contest

Los Barriles Race Start Recall. Wow! I was there shooting the whole week and only noticed one "bad call" none of the spectators knew of any mistakes either. I thought it was a phenomenal event and a treat to have the top 3 racers in the world there! The town of Los Barilles was very safe too. All t...

Re: Slingshot RPM vs Naish Park

Same with me on the Octopus system, switched from Naish kites 100% due to Octopus inflation. 3 quivers, from 3 different years, 8 kites; every kite had one-way valves quit working only one-way. Try finding a leak in a kite with non-functioning one-way valves. Get a leak in the any strut and the whol...
