Re: ION CS Wave Harness, waiting but not sure now.

Question for the creators, Is it possible to unclip the handle on the harness and flip it over so that it is in front of you and clip it back on so that you can use it as a slide to get home if the rope snaps on you while out kiting? I generally do downwinders and would not want walk back? Is the we...

Re: How to remove rust stains from kite?

Salt and lemon juice, Wet the area with lemon juice and rub in a little salt and leave it on on there until stain has disappeared, you may have to aggetate it once in awhile.. i did a kite and it took about half an hour to clear the rust stain, I watched it just to make sure it would not damage the ...

Re: Bridle wrap Airush Wave?

My kite sits quite forward in the window and our wind tends to be side to side on in Perth, Western Australia. The one thing I really like is how well my kite sits foward, I can use my 7m on a floaty surfboard in about 18knots or so at 86kg and I get the same if not better perfomance out of it than ...

Re: The Surf kite from Epic Kites

I am talking about the strut not the arc of the kite. Most struts are segmented to make up the profile of the wing, the part that creates lift excepts for MoMi's design which is one joint. He may be onto something or it maybe just a cost cutting design, I do not know but stands out like dog balls co...

Re: The Surf kite from Epic Kites

Here's one for MoMi, What's with the angular strut, it just looks cheap and aeronautically incorrect? I had second Gen Eclipse kites and in gusts they would get pushed backwards and then dart forwards and then luff. Having one joint creates a bending point compared to a nice curve ( like most kite c...

Re: Strutless kite in development on Maui

Love the concept, when will they come on the market and for how much?

Unless, you need further testers, seasons nearly starting in WesternAustralia :D

How would that kite handle in the waves?

Cheers

Re: Small, portable pump for downwinders

There's an inflateable boat company which makes these nylon material bags that incoprorate a one way valve and two bamboo stiicks in the opening so that you cap galp the air into it, fold it over and squeeze all the air out through the oneway valve which is connected to your kite. Brilliant idea htt...

Re: 443 Euros / 550 USD / 349 GBP for a bar? Have they gone

That all depends on the QC of the kite company, but that price is for quite a nice bar - unique, not one of the generic types you get from the smaller comapnies like blade and Epic. I do know the brand and could most probably get the receipt (as the kite comapny got the manufacturer to deliver direc...
