I think that for jumping only the WW Outrage 10m was one of the best kites I have seen. To bad that's all you could do with that kite. It was a dog to turn. A better all around kite that jumped higher than most all kites I tried last year was the RRD Type HiR with the total depower bar. It was a kit...

What about Ultra Nectar? They make kite shorts. The company is owned by a kiter. I'm all for supporting our kiting brothers. Just bought a new house and my broker was a kiting bro, and not only did I get the bro discount, but he kicked ass on my behafe. Go Ultra Nectar. Owned by Chip Watson one of t...

WerDi Check out the local bay area forum bayareakiteboarding.com. There are guys out riding frontal winds, but it's hit and miss this time of year and condidtions are not the best. Cold and 20 gusting to 35 is not my idea of fun. Spring is when Waddel really turns on. You may get lucky, but its stor...

BS, I sold all my C's after trying a Waroo SLE. I can honestly say that I can boost higher on an SLE than on a C. Part of the reason, is that the SLE helps me to ride comfortably in more wind. Do you ever have gusty wind sessions on a C where you fly a kite size that is too large and during the ses...

Re: canopy strength

It seems like when all kites get old and get the inevitable canopy tear it does so on either side of the center strut. Knowing this, why don't manufacturers put a heavier guage material on the canopy on both sides of the center strut? Now you can say "planned obsolescence", but I would gladly buy a...

I turn it upside down and thump it with my finger or shake it while pulling the hose out. I also tried pulling the nozzel a bit when I take the hose out. After a couple of months they seat just fine.

PS. The stopper balls let the air out easier after a session than the flaps did.

The problem with these boards was definately not due to sitting out in the sunlight. However, they were in my car during the heat wave - but I have dark tinted windows so it was not uv but it did get quite hot in my car. I don't know how hot though. Ed I have never had a problem and I only take my ...

If your wife kites who will cut the grass, cook, clean, wash the cars, work etc., etc.? Dude I wouldn't say it like that but that's how it goes around my house. I think my wife likes me to go kiting for hours at a time so she could get the house work and yard work done. If I'm home I get in the way...
