Have the Neil Pryde High Hook.
Its unobtrusive and dosen't ride up. There is a strap you put under your hook.
I cut the side adjustment straps off mine to reduce on line snag hazards. Has front pocket.
It has good flotation but dunno about impact protection but probably as good as most others.
