Re: LF influence vs influence LFX

Hi, I'm afraid with the LFX you may well find it goes upwind no better thank your joke, the joke doesn't really have a big rocker for a wake style board and goes upwind well. something like a cabrinha custom has far more rocker. The element will go upwind better than your joke as it's flat and stiff...

Re: Carafino Updates: General Topic

All I'm really saying is that local councils are looking for excuses to ban sports like kiting (water or land) and by you bringing it to their attention that it is unsafe (even with good intentions) it's just another nail in the coffin. I do not think children should kitesurf not because of the loca...

Re: Carafino Updates: General Topic

Re: sector 60 max speed

Wow 37mph must feel really quick! And interesting someone got 34mph in 12 knots, that's really efficient! Any tips for going that quick? I'm trying to ride the board flat and going on quite a deep broad reach

sector 60 max speed

Whats the highest speed you have achieved on your sector 60 and in what conditions? I've only been out twice on my v2 in about 10-15 knots and achieved 24.5mph, felt much faster!!!!

Re: ozone zephyr 17m 2011 wind range for 100kg surfer

My 2011 zephyr is great, my favourite kite, I'm 75kgs and on a twin tip cabrinha custom low end is about 13 knots up to about 22 knots, on my airush sector I can go upwind as soon as I can fly the kite 7-8 knots but I'm overpowered at around 15 knots. Great kite

Sounds excellent, what are the low end and high end wind ranges you have used it in? And is the depower good?
Cheers

Re: 2004 or 05 cabrinha nitro and recon 2 bar as a new kite?

Not as easy or safe as modern stuff, but worked fine back in the day and still will, treat it with a bit of respect, get someone to make sure it's flying right and I'm sure you'll be fine.
Probably worth about £100 if that makes any difference
