The thing is that I plan on doing most my sailing on smooth sandy beaches which won't put to much strain on the axels. I don't feel like spending money even if it is only like 50 bucks. This idea was one that I hoped to keep under ten dollars.

What do you mean they will bend? Even if I weld an extended axle to them. the axle would have to be strong metal of some sort.

So with a kite you look more stylish? What do you mean by feeling? I assume that it is much easier to pull air's with a kite but I don't really care about that since I can't even do that on the water with my windsurfer. Thanks for your help. You haven't ever heard of building your own board. I figur...

Thanks. I am trying to decide whether to use a kite (which means I would have to buy the equipment) or buy one of those boards with the windsurfer attachments. Either way I will have to buy a land board.

Yeah. What kind of speeds do you reach doing either land kiting or land windsurfing?
