Re: I Do Not Know How Girls Work

Nah, the plumbing is pretty straight forward. It's the electrical that can be confusing. Classic! Its really pretty simple. Guys are always wrong. Even when we admit we're wrong and apologize we are still wrong for doing that....they'd prefer an admirable explanation. So - whichever board you choos...

Re: Sand Dune Kiting

Thanks for those! I'm sure the video doesn't do justice to the sensations you feel out there riding. The lip smackin off cant boosts etc look super fun & the area I'm thinking about is just 1 after the other wind lips & troughs. Love the powerslide 180's too. :thumb:

Sand Dune Kiting

Has anyone spent much time trying to kite sand dunes - like those near Florence, OR; Dunes in Brazil; OBX, Egypt? Seems like it would be really similar to snow kiting but friction from the sand would be an issue for a board? Lots of gliding possibilities too it would seem. A couple of youtubes I've ...

Re: 2017 Airline Sports Baggage Fees & Rules

As stated in the OP. Support the airlines that support us(or at least don't anally ream us out). I had had decent luck on Delta until my last trip. Always used their credit card & bought above standard seating....seemed to work for board bag allowance. Went to Baja & got stabbed for $150 US. They do...

Re: Upcoming Rockies Snowkite Trip

No. We've been getting some crazy winds. An area N & E of there was getting 80+ mph gusts. Should settle down a bunch in the next few days with new snow on the way. Colder too

Re: Upcoming Rockies Snowkite Trip

Island Park, Raynolds Pass, Mount Haggin, Big Hole Pass, Ririe, Antelope Flats, all have potential to be good over the holidays. There's plenty of snow cover for most of the park & ride spots. If you have a bile the potential is boundless. We usually look 1-2 days ahead & plan spots accordingly. Any...

Re: Petition: No excess charges for sport luggage.

Best way to protest any business is - don't buy their product. Sometimes easier said than done but I haven't flown on American or United for years because they are such asses about luggage. Alaska & Delta are so much better & usually going where I'm going. Maybe if others post their positive experie...

Re: I broke my back, compressions - anyone done similar?

I broke my C-7 (kiting  ) Had the fusion surgery C-7/T-1. Aftermath was gruesome until I started going out with my splitboard & skins - basically x-country skiing mellow terrain. Dr was mortified because I was doing this 3 weeks after surgery. I just thought I'd listen to my body & it would te...

Re: strong and light surfboard

The Spleene Zone boards & Lightwave DV8 boards are as bombproof as anything. Not as light as foam boards. Nice & flexy in chop tho.
